Quality Integration Analyst [Hybrid - Porto, Portugal]

We are looking for a Quality Integration Analyst to ensure the seamless integration of software components and systems throughout the software delivery lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong experience in integration testing, particularly with back-end and middleware applications, and a solid understanding of QA processes, automation, and quality governance. You will collaborate with development teams, Train Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure testing coverage, track defects and risks, and support successful software deliveries.

Tasks:

• Analyze business and technical specifications, leveraging AI tools where relevant, to define QA scope, integration testing strategies, and automation approaches.
• Develop and maintain test plans, ensuring full requirements traceability and conducting QA readiness assessments.
• Execute manual and automated integration tests, simulating real-world scenarios to validate system interactions and functionality.
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues and perform regression testing.
• Implement and maintain automated integration tests using internal tools, continuously improving test coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams and Business Analysts to understand system dependencies and participate in design and code reviews.
• Define and maintain QA entry and exit criteria, quality gates, and delivery readiness assessments.
• Provide Go/No-Go recommendations, communicate residual risks, escalate blockers, and report testing progress, coverage, and defects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing practices, and automation strategies.
• Support and mentor junior QA engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and quality best practices

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience in Quality Assurance throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle.
• Strong experience testing back-end and middleware applications, including system integration testing.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and test automation.
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Hands-on experience testing banking or brokerage applications, particularly in Cash and/or Derivatives Markets.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage testing activities across different stages of software delivery.

Nice to have:

• Experience with QA governance, quality gates, and Go/No-Go assessments.
• Experience mentoring junior QA engineers.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives and QA process optimization
