THE ROLE

We are recruiting three Mid-Level ABAP Developers to join a client's SAP S/4HANA development team. This is a hands-on build and support role spanning project development, change requests and incident resolution across a live S/4HANA landscape.

You will work with modern ABAP programming models - CDS, OData and RAP - and partner directly with functional consultants and business stakeholders to turn requirements into working solutions. The team operates fully remotely, so you will need to be self-directed, comfortable collaborating across time zones, and confident owning your deliverables end to end.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build and maintain custom applications and enhancements within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Develop Core Data Services (CDS) views and OData services using modern ABAP programming models.
• Translate functional specifications into scalable technical designs, then code, test and deploy them.
• Deliver system enhancements and process improvements through structured Change Request life cycles.
• Own incident management tasks - troubleshooting, debugging and resolving complex operational system defects.
• Write clean, performant code aligned to Object-Oriented Programming best practice and modern ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP) standards.
• Partner closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders so technical solutions align with business requirements.
• Support integration of backend ABAP architecture and OData services with front-end SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Solid hands-on ABAP development experience, including delivery within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Practical experience building CDS views and OData services.
• Object-oriented ABAP, with working knowledge of the RAP programming model.
• Experience taking functional specifications through technical design, build, testing and deployment.
• Change Request delivery and incident/defect resolution in a live support or AMS context.
• Confident working directly with functional consultants and business stakeholders.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Able to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

• SAP Fiori/UI5 exposure and experience integrating OData services with front-end applications.
• Performance tuning and code quality experience (ABAP Test Cockpit, Clean Core principles).
• Experience in a multi-country, shared services or global business services environment.
• Additional European languages.

Salary is PLN 20,000–25,000 per month depending on experience, with a start date of 1 October 2026.
