ROLE SUMMARY:

King’s College School Murcia is seeking an enthusiastic, committed and well-qualified Science Teacher to join our dynamic and successful Science Department from January 2026.

The successful candidate will be able to teach Biology and Chemistry to A Level, inspiring students through engaging, challenging and practical science lessons. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about their subject, committed to high academic standards and able to motivate students of different ages and abilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Teach Biology and Chemistry up to and including A Level.
+ Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and differentiated lessons.
+ Inspire students to develop a genuine interest in Science and encourage curiosity and independent thinking.
+ Assess, monitor and report on student progress effectively.
+ Contribute to the continued development of the Science curriculum and department.
+ Make effective use of practical experiments and enquiry\-based learning.
+ Support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.
+ Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and its community.
+ Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider school.

Requisitos

• Requisitos: - Previous experience teaching within the British curriculum and/or A Level would be highly desirable.

  • Holds a relevant degree in Biology, Chemistry, Science or a related subject.
  • Has an appropriate teaching qualification and relevant classroom experience.
  • Is confident teaching both Biology and Chemistry through to A Level.
  • Has high expectations of students and is committed to achieving excellent educational outcomes.
  • Can create an engaging, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Is enthusiastic, flexible and committed to professional development.
  • Enjoys working as part of a collaborative and international school community.
