As a Powerplant Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the performance and reliability of our fleet’s engines and APUs. From analyzing technical documentation to forecasting shop visits and optimizing maintenance strategies, your expertise will directly impact operational efficiency and cost savings.

How will it be to work with us?
- Analyze, review, and distribute ADs, VSBs, and other OEM documentation.
- Issue engineering orders and engineering bulletins. Administer and distribute technical documentation for aircraft and powerplant within the fleet.
- Support the maintenance of CFM56-5B engines, 131-9A and APS3200 APUs, and nacelles.
- Forecast and track engine and APU shop visits.
- Provide technical support and assistance to other departments, including Planning, MCC, and Transitions.
- Prepare powerplant-related documentation, troubleshooting guidelines, and engine replacement workpackages.
- Perform reliability analyses to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Engine Health monitoring. Tracking and assessment of parameters and alerts.
- Support the analysis of maintenance program effectiveness.
- Manage the phase-in and phase-out of engines, including the preparation of end-of-lease documentation.
- Occasional aircraft base maintenance support (technical representative).

Ready to join us?
What will make you succeed in this position:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years’ experience working in an Engineering environment in CAMO. Powerplant previous experience desirable.
- A320 experience desirable. Experience working with AIRBUS & CFM manuals and data sources.
- English is essential. Fluent Spanish recommended.
- Good knowledge of EASA regulations.
- AMOS knowledge.
- Methodical, analytical-minded, and service-oriented. Knowledge of AMOS software is considered a plus
