Our client is a global IT services and consulting company specializing in digital transformation, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• administer and monitor MS SQL database services,
• provide 2nd line database support and troubleshoot issues,
• deploy, maintain and monitor databases,
• perform ETL and data transformation,
• plan database capacity and availability,
• optimize and tune database performance,
• manage database incidents and changes,
• maintain technical documentation and procedures,
• prepare activity and operational reports.

Requirements

• experience administering complex MS SQL environments,
• expertise in database performance tuning and capacity planning,
• experience with SQL scripting, ETL and cloud services,
• experience with Microsoft BI and Microsoft Fabric,
• hands-on experience with system monitoring and virtual infrastructure,
• experience working in restricted environments,
• knowledge of DBPlus Performance Monitor,
• experience with Always On, recovery models and disaster recovery,
• proficiency with SQL Profiler, Execution Plans and DMVs,
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate,
• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate,
• proactive, self-motivated and team-oriented approach,
• strong communication and user-focused skills,
• ability to adapt to changing technologies,
