Job Summary

The Design Lead at HCL is responsible for overseeing and managing the design processes utilizing CATIA and CAD design skills within a medical environment compliant with ISO13485 standards. The primary objective is to ensure the successful development and implementation of high-quality designs in adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the design team in creating and developing product designs using catia and cad software.

2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand design requirements and constraints.

3. Ensure all designs meet the iso13485 process standards for medical devices.

4. Conduct design reviews, provide feedback, and implement necessary improvements.

5. Manage design projects from concept through to production release.

6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cad technologies for continuous improvement.

7. Support in the training and development of team members in catia and cad design skills.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in catia and cad design software for creating complex 3d models and technical drawings.

2. Strong understanding and practical experience in the application of iso13485 standards in the medical device design process.

3. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate and optimize designs.

4. Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

5. Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to quality assurance in design processes.

6. Project management skills to handle multiple design projects simultaneously.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in CATIA or ISO13485 processes are a plus.
