Power BI Software Developer
Responsibilities:
- Developing and supporting full-stack Power BI solutions including custom reports, dashboards, data models and paginated reports
- Creating semantic data models and optimizing Power BI performance
- Working with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL development
- Integrating REST APIs, HTTP APIs and web services
- Implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS)
- Performing data transformation and optimization tasks
- Collaborating with development teams using Git and Azure DevOps
- Creating technical documentation and following Scrum methodology
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional IT experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar software development role
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in full-stack Power BI development or support, including custom reporting solutions, dashboards, data models and paginated reports
- Minimum EQF Level 6 education (bachelor's degree or equivalent). An ICT-related degree is not mandatory
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher, supported by appropriate certification
- At least one internationally recognized intermediate-level software development certification relevant to the required technology domain, or an accepted equivalent
- Strong practical experience with Microsoft Power BI, including report development and semantic data modelling
- Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M)
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL development
- Ability to optimize Power BI performance through SQL query tuning, database views and query folding
- Experience integrating REST APIs, HTTP APIs and web services
- Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS)
- Experience with data transformation, optimization and advanced analytics tools
- Knowledge of Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience with full software development lifecycle processes
- Understanding of enterprise software development principles and layered application architecture
- Familiarity with UML, Scrum and technical documentation
