Suriname Investment Platform (SIP) is seeking experienced and entrepreneurial international investment brokers with an active global network of private and institutional investors.

SIP is a private investment platform connecting qualified international investors with carefully selected, scalable investment opportunities in Suriname. Projects are generally structured through dedicated Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), providing transparency regarding ownership, responsibilities, capital allocation and governance.

The minimum investment typically starts at USD 100,000, while the average project value is approximately USD 5 million.

The role

As an international investment broker, you will identify, introduce and support qualified investors interested in investment opportunities in Suriname. Your network may include high-net-worth individuals, family offices, investment funds, pension funds, development finance institutions and strategic corporate investors.

This is an international, remote position with no fixed office location. We particularly welcome candidates with established networks in:

• The Netherlands;
• Switzerland;
• Luxembourg;
• The United Kingdom;
• The United Arab Emirates;
• Singapore;
• The United States and Canada;
• Curaçao and the wider Caribbean;
• Guyana;
• Suriname.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach qualified international investors.
• Present SIP and its available investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with investors, family offices, funds and strategic partners.
• Assess investors’ criteria, sector preferences, investment capacity and risk appetite.
• Organise and facilitate online presentations and investor meetings.
• Support the process from initial introduction through to the completion of an investment.
• Maintain accurate records of investor contacts, progress and agreements.
• Operate in accordance with applicable compliance, integrity and confidentiality standards.
• Identify international market developments and new funding opportunities.
• Provide relevant market feedback to SIP and its project partners.

Candidate profile

We are looking for an independent professional with proven experience in investment brokerage, corporate finance, private equity, real estate finance, wealth management or international business development.

The ideal candidate has:

• An established network of qualified investors.
• Experience with investment propositions starting from USD 100,000.
• Knowledge of project finance, SPV structures and international transactions.
• Strong commercial, presentation and relationship-management skills.
• A professional, discreet and ethical approach.
• The ability to communicate complex investment opportunities clearly and convincingly.
• Excellent command of English.
• Knowledge of Dutch or other relevant languages is an advantage.
• An affinity with Suriname, the Caribbean or emerging markets.

A relevant international investor network is more important than a specific academic qualification or place of residence.

Engagement model

The role is performed on an independent basis under a broker or cooperation agreement. Compensation is linked to investments successfully completed through the broker’s introductions.

Investor introductions must be registered in advance. Responsibilities, eligibility requirements, confidentiality, compliance obligations and fee arrangements will be documented in writing before engagement.
