We develop top-notch, high-fidelity Engineering and Training Simulations for a variety of aircraft, supporting the entire development lifecycle. We are looking for a
Simulation Software Architect (d/f/m)
to reinforce our simulation team in Manching. You will be responsible for defining and implementing complex simulation architectures for our next-generation aircraft programs. You will work in an international environment and require close coordination with internal colleagues, stakeholders, and external partner companies.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Designing and implementing complex architectures for Engineering Simulations to support aircraft programs
- Translating high-level system and system-of-system requirements into tangible architectures
- Breaking down architectures into work packages
- Designing and agreeing upon interfaces with the programs
- Supporting Chief Engineers in work-share negotiations
- Leading the bid process for simulation work packages
- Creating work packages for external suppliers
- Supporting Systems Engineers in translating architectures into requirements
Desired skills and qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Software Engineering or a related discipline
- Over 10 years of experience within Engineering
- More than 5 years of experience as a Software Architect
- A proven, hands-on track record in Simulation and Software architecture
- Experience in Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V)
- Project Management skills are a plus
- Experience in the aviation, simulation, or defense industry is a plus
- Excellent English (negotiation level). German is a plus
