As the Global Head of Procurement & Logistics (f/m/d) for Digital Grid (DG), you will lead the global procurement and logistics organization and shape the function as a strategic business partner, value creator, and digital innovator. You will define and execute DG's global procurement and logistics strategy, strengthen supply chain resilience, drive operational excellence, and accelerate the adoption of AI, data, and digital technologies across the end-to-end value chain.
You will partner closely with business leaders, engineering, operations, finance, logistics, and digitalization teams to build a future-ready operating model that improves competitiveness, delivery reliability, compliance, and sustainable business performance. How You’ll Make an Impact* Define and execute a global procurement and logistics strategy that aligns with business objectives, ensuring growth, profitability, and delivery commitments.
- Build and manage a high-performing global supplier ecosystem, driving supplier development and risk mitigation strategies to enhance material availability and business continuity.
- Champion the transformation of procurement and logistics into a data-driven function by identifying and scaling AI use cases to enhance decision-making and business performance.
- Deliver measurable business value through cost optimization, productivity improvements, and logistics efficiency, while fostering a culture of ownership, integrity, excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Lead and develop a globally distributed team, focusing on building high-performing cross-functional teams and strengthening future capabilities through talent development and inclusive leadership.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, connecting business strategy with procurement and logistics execution to drive overall organizational success. What You Bring* A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is equally valued.
- Many years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or strategic sourcing within a global industrial or technology-driven organization.
- Several years of success in leading global and cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders across various regions and functions.
- Experience leading or contributing to analytics, automation, AI, or digital transformation initiatives in procurement, supply chain, logistics, operations, or a comparable environment.
- Strong commercial, financial, contractual, supplier management, negotiation, and risk-management expertise.
- Proficient communication in English with the ability to translate business needs into practical priorities, decisions, and measurable outcomes. About the Team
