Barcelona, Catalunya, Spain Full Time Mid Level
The way we work is changing, and we want someone who's ready to change with us. At Lexidy, AI is reshaping how we deliver legal services, and that transformation starts from within. We're looking for a People Operations Specialist who can keep our HR engine running smoothly across Spain and all associated jurisdictions while actively contributing to how we evolve as an organization. This is a hands-on, operational role at its core, but you'll also find yourself at the heart of a cultural shift, helping the team navigate new tools, new processes, and new ways of working. If you're the kind of person who finds a better way to do things before anyone asks, this role is for you.
Location: Barcelona Headquarters

Your Accountabilities
- Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process for junior and mid-level roles, using our ATS tool and complying with our standard process already in place.
- Payroll Management: Collaborate with external providers to collect and communicate payroll changes. Thoroughly review payroll records to eliminate errors and ensure accurate tax calculations, contributions, and deductions. Request and review settlements as needed.
- Contracts and Documentation: Review employment contracts tailored to each position's specific clauses. Prepare company certificates, annexes, contractual novations, and other necessary labor documentation.
- HRIS Management: Oversee the HIRIS system by maintaining the employee database, tracking attendance, managing maternity, paternity, holidays, and other absences, among other duties.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to labor regulations and internal procedures, guaranteeing a compliant and efficient HR environment.
- Health and Safety: Organize training sessions, coordinate medical check-ups, and handle related tasks to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
- Employee Support: Address employee queries and incidents of a legal-labor nature, collaborating closely with the Head of People and external advisors.
- Benefits Administration: Assist in the administration of employee benefits, enrollments, and respond to inquiries promptly.
- HR Guidance: Provide guidance to employees on company policies and procedures, addressing general HR inquiries.
- Collaboration: Actively participate in various HR projects and initiatives, working closely with the HR team to drive organizational success.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Identify manual, repetitive tasks within People Operations and propose ways to streamline or automate them using available tools and AI-based solutions. You will be expected to test, learn, and implement improvements that make the department faster and more accurate.
- Transformation Support: Act as a bridge between the People team and the broader organizational transformation. Help communicate changes, support the adoption of new tools and processes across the company, and contribute to building a culture that embraces continuous improvement.
Who We're Looking For
- Proven experience in an HR generalist role, with the ability to navigate diverse cultural and business environments.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You question data, spot inconsistencies, and use information to make better decisions.
- Tech-savvy mindset: comfortable with HR tools, eager to explore AI-powered solutions, and genuinely curious about how technology can improve the way we work. You don't need to be a developer, but you should be the person who actually tries new tools instead of waiting for someone to set them up.
- Experience in designing and implementing HR-related projects, with a global outlook.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service and relationship building across cultures.
- Adaptability and a growth mindset, with the ability to embrace and drive change across international landscapes.
