About the role About the position:
Most of our students find us today through marketing. Your job is to build the second engine: new business through partnerships and communities. We've developed a systematic outbound strategy — instead of cold-calling individuals, we identify the "rooms" where our ideal students already gather (professional communities, coaching networks, employer programs, transition programs) and build repeatable acquisition channels into them.
You'll own this motion end-to-end: identify and prioritize partner ecosystems, open doors, design and run collaboration plays (co-webinars, scholarships, guest formats), and personally advise and close the prospective students these channels generate. You'll run structured 6-week experiment cycles, measure what works against clear quality benchmarks, and double down on the channels that prove themselves.
This is a builder role: you get a validated strategy, a scoring framework, and full ownership — not a finished playbook. It's also designed to grow: as the channel matures, so does the scope of the role.
Your main tasks will include:
You'll research and evaluate partner ecosystems in the DACH market and beyond, prioritizing them with our scoring framework and grow the New Business Sales team step by step (with one team member at the start). You'll open entry doors through your network, warm intros, and sharp outreach, and negotiate collaboration formats with community leads, coaching networks, employers, and education partners. You'll execute the resulting plays hands-on, then guide interested prospects through consultative admissions conversations to a signed enrollment — you carry a personal closing target. Every 6 weeks, you'll review your portfolio of active ecosystems with leadership and decide: expand, optimize, or stop. Your learnings feed a growing playbook that will eventually scale across the team — and as it does, you'll increasingly enable and coach colleagues to run plays you designed and make the New business function an integral part of the whole sales team.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- 5+ years in B2B/B2C sales, business development, or partnerships
- Experience selling considered, high-ticket decisions to individuals — education, coaching, career services, professional certification or similar. You understand how people decide to invest years and real money in themselves
- Leadership or enablement track record — you've led a small team, managed ICs, onboarded and coached new hires, or built a function's first processes.
- A track record of building something new: you've opened markets, channels, or partner segments that didn't exist before you
- Strong closing skills — you're comfortable carrying a personal revenue target, not just a pipeline target
- Structured, experiment-driven working style: you form hypotheses, timebox research, kill what doesn't work, and document what does
- Native-level German and fluent English — you'll open doors in German and sell a program taught in English
Based in the DACH region (role is fully remote)
