Your role as Recruitment Working Student
As a Recruitment Working Student, you will support Highberg in attracting new talent. You will be involved in the entire recruitment process and have the opportunity to take on responsibility from day one. In doing so, you will directly contribute to the growth of our organization while building your own professional development.
You will support the recruitment team with a variety of activities, including:
- Publishing and managing job vacancies across various recruitment channels.
- Screening candidates and maintaining communication with applicants.
- Scheduling interviews with candidates and stakeholders.
- Supporting sourcing activities through LinkedIn and other professional networks.
- Processing and maintaining recruitment data. Who are you?
You are eager to learn, proactive, and enjoy working with others to achieve results. You are comfortable taking initiative and are willing to take ownership and responsibility when needed. What are we asking?
- You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s (HBO) or master’s (WO) degree program.
- You are available to work 16 hours per week.
- You are detail-oriented, proactive, and possess strong communication skills.
- You enjoy interacting with and connecting with people.
- You are not afraid to take initiative and assume responsibility.
- You are flexible and willing to travel between our offices in Utrecht and Amsterdam. For this role, you will work at least one day per week from our Highberg office in Amsterdam and at least one day per week from our Utrecht office. In addition, you are willing to travel to our Zoetermeer office approximately once a month. What are we offering?

Our application process
At Highberg, we see applying as a meaningful two‑way conversation. It is about finding the right match for you as well as for us. Our selection process is transparent, thoughtful, and efficient, so you gain a clear understanding of who we are and how we work. Here is what you can expect:
1 Introductory conversation
We start with an introductory conversation to get to know you better. We discuss your background, interests, and motivations, and we also tell you more , our culture, and our way of working.
2 In‑depth conversation
If there is enthusiasm on both sides, you will meet with team members and or managers. We take a deeper look at your experience, ambitions, and way of collaborating, and explore together whether there is a good match with our projects and approach.
3 Case, presentation, or follow‑up conversation
Depending on the role, we may ask you to work on a short case, give a presentation, or have an additional conversation. This gives both you and us a better view of your expertise and way of thinking in practice.
4 Offer and Onboarding
If we are both keen to move forward, you will quickly receive an offer. After that, we provide a warm onboarding experience so you feel welcome from day one and quickly find your way within Highberg.
