QA Manager, Product Growth
Natural Cycles · Stockholm, Sweden
You apply off-site, with the employer or the job board. I never handle applications.
Natural Cycles° is a leading women’s health company that developed the world’s first birth control app, used by millions globally. We are a fast growing startup, and we promote an international working environment filled with smart and ambitious colleagues based in Stockholm, Geneva, New York, and remotely. Our mission is to pioneer women’s health through research and passion, empowering every woman with the knowledge she needs to take charge of her health.
You are a QA Manager leading and developing QA within our Product Growth team. You own our QA strategy and how we approach quality across the full growth journey — from acquisition entry points through website, sign-up, payments, subscriptions, and in-app experiences.
Your mission is to help Product Growth move faster while improving the quality of what we ship. You look beyond individual features and releases to understand the end-to-end customer journey, focusing QA where it matters most — across experimentation, analytics and tracking, payments, and the different devices, browsers, and in-app browsers our users rely on.
You lead and develop our QA team while continuously improving how we work. Through smarter testing strategies, automation, AI, and modern QA practices, you help reduce repetitive manual work, catch more meaningful issues, and enable faster development and release cycles.
Please note that we are hiring for this role in Sweden.
What you will be doing
- Own the QA strategy and operating model for Product Growth, defining what we test, how we test it, and where QA effort creates the most value
- Lead, coach, and develop our QA team, supporting their performance, career development, and growing capabilities in areas such as automation
- Take an end-to-end view of quality across the growth journey, ensuring we test both individual functionality and how experiences work together across surfaces, browsers, devices, and entry points
- Improve QA processes and prioritization to shorten the time from idea to launch without compromising quality
- Drive the adoption of test automation, AI, and modern tooling to make QA more effective and scalable
- Lead the QA approach for larger cross-pod and cross-functional initiatives, identifying risks early and defining the right testing strategy
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering, and collaborate with Marketing, Design, Analytics, and other teams when needed to ensure quality across the broader customer journey
- Build a strong quality mindset across Product Growth, making QA an integrated part of product development rather than a final step before release
What skills and experience we think you have
- QA leadership: Experience leading and developing QA professionals and owning QA strategy, processes, and ways of working
- Growth product experience: Strong experience testing growth-oriented digital products, including commercial funnels, experimentation/A/B testing, analytics and tracking, conversion journeys, and fast-moving product environments
- End-to-end quality mindset: You think beyond individual features and understand quality across complete user journeys, including different browsers, devices, entry points, and systems
- Test automation: Hands-on experience with test automation — whether through implementation, technical evaluation, or close collaboration with automation engineers — strong enough to guide framework and tooling decisions for our stack
- AI and modern QA practices: Experience using AI and modern QA tooling to improve testing efficiency, effectiveness, or scalability
- Commercial understanding: Experience with areas such as payments, pricing, subscriptions, or other high-impact commercial flows
- Strategic and pragmatic thinking: Balances a clear long-term view of where QA needs to go with pragmatic, in-the-moment trade-off calls under time pressure.
- Risk-based prioritization: Ability to identify where the biggest quality risks lie — including dependencies between features, experiments, and user journeys — and guide the team on where deeper testing or other quality measures deliver the most value.
- Cross-functional leadership: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence Product, Engineering, and other partners
It's a plus if you also have
- Experience across both web and mobile apps
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks
- Experience with subscription-based products
- Experience working in a regulated or consumer health environment
- Passion for women's health
