What we’re looking for

We're looking for a hands-on Antenna Integration Engineer to ensure the antennas in our UAV platforms perform reliably in the real product, not only in isolation. In this role, you'll work across RF, electronics, mechanical, systems, and flight test to make sure antenna placement, layout, materials, and shielding are considered early and validated properly. This is a practical, integration-focused role where you'll turn RF requirements into product-level decisions that keep GNSS, C2, and telemetry links robust in flight.

The day-to-day

  • Antenna integration: own antenna integration topics across UAV platforms, payloads, and ground-facing hardware
  • Placement decisions: support antenna selection, placement, and layout for GNSS, C2, telemetry, and video/data links
  • Cross-functional translation: work with RF engineers to translate link-budget requirements into practical integration constraints
  • Prototyping: build and iterate antenna and mechanical prototypes, including mounting mechanisms and RF test fixtures
  • Risk identification: identify antenna-related integration risks early, including detuning, shadowing, and EMI/EMC issues
  • Validation and measurement: plan and run antenna measurement campaigns for radiation-pattern and efficiency characterization using anechoic-chamber or OATS facilities

You should apply if you

  • Technical experience: you have strong hands-on experience with antenna integration, RF hardware, or embedded RF products
  • Practical judgment: you understand antenna performance in real products, including placement, ground planes, and environmental effects
  • Measurement skills: you're experienced measuring or debugging RF performance using VNAs, spectrum analyzers, or SDRs
  • Hardware comfort: you're able to work close to hardware, prototypes, workshops, and imperfect early builds
  • Communication: you can make integration trade-offs explicit and explain RF constraints to non-RF engineers
  • Education: you hold a degree in electrical engineering, RF engineering, electronics, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on experience that speaks louder than the diploma

Nice to haves

  • Domain background: experience with UAVs, drones, robotics, aerospace, or defense wireless systems
  • Simulation tools: experience with antenna simulation or electromagnetic modeling tools such as CST or HFSS
  • GNSS troubleshooting: experience with GNSS antenna integration and degraded-signal troubleshooting

What we offer

  • Real impact & ownership: Shape high-tech defense systems and take responsibility from day one.
  • Mission-driven environment: Work on technologies that matter for European security and sovereignty.
  • Competitive package: Competitive salary, EGYM Wellpass, corporate benefits, and equity options aligned with role and level.
  • Deep tech environment: Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge drone technology and real operational use cases.
  • Grow fast: Steep learning curve for juniors, strategic influence and leadership opportunities for seniors.
  • Startup mindset meets defence innovation: flat hierarchies, fast decisions, and space for your ideas.
  • Flexibility: Flexible hours, remote options, and relocation support.
  • Strong team: International, driven colleagues and a culture built on exchange, trust, and shared success.
