The role

As Incoming Goods InspectorH/F you are the airworthiness gatekeeper of our stores. Every part, component and consumable entering the organisation passes through your inspection before it is released to stock and made available for maintenance. You confirm that what we receive is exactly what was ordered, correctly certified, fully traceable and fit for installation — and you quarantine anything that is not.

This is a formally authorised position. Following an internal competence assessment by our Quality department, you will be named on JetSupport's receiving inspection authorisation list as described in our Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE). Your acceptance is what allows a part to move from goods-in into serviceable stock.

Key responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of all aircraft parts, components and materials against the purchase order, applicable data and airworthiness requirements.
• Verify release documentation, EASA Form 1, and other acceptable or dual-release certificates, and confirm part number, serial/batch, quantity, condition and shelf-life.
• Establish full traceability and conformity; identify, segregate and quarantine non-conforming items and suspected unapproved parts (SUP) in accordance with EASA Part-145 145.A.42.
• Classify components correctly (serviceable / unserviceable / unsalvageable) and manage the quarantine and bonded stores.
• Control shelf-life, ESD-sensitive and dangerous-goods items and ensure correct storage conditions in line with 145.A.25.
• Record all receipts and inspection results in **BlueMRO**, keeping parts and traceability data accurate and audit-ready.
• Work closely with Quality, Purchasing and Production Planning to resolve discrepancies quickly and keep material flowing.
• Support internal, EASA and customer audits with complete, retrievable receiving records.

How this differs from a Junior Stores role

This is not an entry-level position. Where our Junior Material Controller learns the warehouse from the ground up, the Incoming Goods Inspector already knows it, and carries the authority and accountability for what we accept into the organisation. Prior Part-145 stores experience is therefore a hard requirement, not a preference.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a stores/warehouse department within an EASA Part-145 organisation. This is non-negotiable.
• Solid working knowledge of airworthiness certification and traceability: EASA Form 1, dual release, and Part-145 component acceptance (145.A.42).
• Able to pass an internal competence assessment and to be placed on the receiving inspection authorisation list.
• Precise, documentation-driven, and comfortable saying "no" when a part or its paperwork is not right.
• Working proficiency in English , our operational and documentation language. French is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable working in an ERP / maintenance system; experience with BlueStock and/or Ramco is a strong plus.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with dangerous goods handling and ESD-sensitive components.
• Human Factors training and awareness of Part-145 continuation-training requirements.
