As a Teaching Assistant you are admitted as a student at the University, participate in ongoing studies and work part time.
Duties
Your duties will consist of planning, administration, delivery and reporting of a University course. The work is based on the course syllabus and is carried out together with a colleague and in close collaboration with guest lecturers, a course work group (consisting of experienced University teachers, researchers and professors), and the educational coordinators at CEMUS. The work includes contacts with guest lecturers and students, course planning, literature planning, preparation of seminars, workshops and course administration. Part of the work is to creatively build on experiences from previous course offerings and pass on one’s own experiences to future course coordinators.

Requirements
- Ongoing University studies (higher education). For employment as a teaching assistant, it is a requirement that you are admitted as a student at undergraduate or advanced level, see the Swedish regulations: Högskoleförordningen 5 kap/Higher Education Ordinance chapter 5.
- Good computer skills and good spoken and written English language skills are necessary.
- Documented ability to independently manage and complete tasks within given time frames, even during temporary work peaks.
- Individual suitability to successfully carry out the work tasks will be given strong consideration. Additional qualifications
Studies within the field of sustainable development. Experience of transdisciplinary education. Experience of planning and facilitating workshops and seminars. Documented ability to collaborate with people from different backgrounds.

About the employment
The employments are temporary positions according to the Higher Education Ordinance chapter 5 § 12, until 2027-07-31. Scope of employment 18-25 %. Starting date 2026-10-01 or as agreed. Placement: Uppsala.
