Join us as a Working Student (f/m/d) in Master Data Governance, where you will play a vital role in Siemens Energy’s mission to enhance the quality and governance of our enterprise data. You will collaborate closely with Data Governance, Master Data, and business teams to ensure that our master data is accurate, consistent, and complete. This hands-on position will immerse you in data governance, data quality management, and analytics within a global SAP-driven environment. You will gain valuable insights into how master data underpins business processes, drives digital transformation, and fosters operational excellence. How You’ll Make an Impact* Assist in cleansing, validating, and enriching master data records (e.g., customer, vendor, material) within ERP systems
- Execute routine data maintenance requests, creating or updating records according to established procedures and service levels
- Support data quality initiatives by running predefined reports to identify duplicates, inconsistencies, or incomplete data
- Document data maintenance activities and report on the status of assigned tasks to team members
- Help document data standards, business rules, and process workflows for master data objects
- Assist in preparing materials and presentations for data governance meetings and workshops What You Bring* Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- No prior professional experience is required; this role is perfect for students seeking practical experience in a corporate IT environment
- A strong interest in data management, data quality, and ERP systems is essential
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is highly advantageous
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail
