As part of the global MEDISCA group, we are continuing to grow our European operations from our site in Schkopau near Leipzig and strengthen our presence across European markets.
- As Account Executive Europe (m/f/d), you will manage and develop our customer relationships across Europe, with a particular focus on Belgium, France and the United Kingdom.
- You will be a key contact for our customers, build long-term relationships with pharmacies and healthcare professionals, and identify new business opportunities. The role combines pharmaceutical or healthcare understanding with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine ability to build trusted customer relationships.
- The position combines account management, business development and regular customer-facing activities. You can expect to spend approximately half of your time travelling within Europe for customer visits, meetings, training sessions and industry events. The other half will be spent working closely with our European team – preferably at our site in Schkopau near Leipzig, combined with flexible hybrid working options.
- Regular presence in Schkopau is important to us. This role is therefore particularly suitable for someone who already lives in the Leipzig/Halle area or who would be open to relocating to the region.
Deine Aufgaben
- Manage and develop existing customer relationships across Belgium, France and the United Kingdom.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and develop solutions that meet individual customer needs.
- Develop new customer relationships and support the continued expansion of MEDISCA's presence in European markets.
- Plan and conduct customer visits, product presentations, training sessions and business reviews.
- Advise and educate customers on MEDISCA products, services and pharmaceutical compounding solutions.
- Understand our customers' needs and challenges and translate them into concrete business opportunities.
- Work towards agreed sales targets while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Maintain accurate customer information, opportunities and activities within our CRM system.
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback and competitive activity and actively share insights with the wider team.
- Collaborate closely with our European and global teams.
- Represent MEDISCA at industry conferences, networking events and customer meetings.
Dein Profil
- At least two years of experience in account management, pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, business development, customer success or a comparable customer-facing role.
- Alternatively, you may come from a pharmaceutical background – for example as a pharmacy technician, pharmacist or in a comparable role – and be interested in combining your technical expertise with customer consulting and sales.
- You know how to build relationships, establish trust and develop customers over the long term.
- You work independently and in a structured way and are comfortable managing an international sales territory.
- You have strong commercial awareness and can identify business and growth opportunities.
- You are able to explain complex products and solutions clearly and provide customers with professional, consultative support.
- You communicate confidently and convincingly in customer meetings, presentations and negotiations.
- You are fluent in French and English. Good German language skills are an advantage for working with our team in Germany.
- We particularly welcome candidates with strong knowledge of the French or Belgian market and the corresponding language and cultural understanding.
- Dutch/Flemish is an additional advantage.
- You are confident using Microsoft Office and ideally have experience working with CRM systems.
- You hold a valid driver's licence and are willing to travel regularly within Europe.
- You enjoy being part of an on-site team and are comfortable working regularly from our Schkopau site near Leipzig.
Qualifications
A degree or professional qualification in pharmacy, pharmacy technology, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, business administration or a related field is an advantage.
