We’re looking for a Security Intelligence Analyst to:
- Monitor and assess open-source information, internal reporting, and global geopolitical, security, technological, and societal developments to identify emerging risks, threats, and opportunities relevant to UBS and its operations
- Apply structured analytical techniques and select strategic foresight approaches to identify patterns, understand implications, and develop forward-looking intelligence assessments
- Produce high-quality intelligence reports, assessments, and briefings that translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
- Leverage analytical tools, emerging technologies, automation, and AI enabled capabilities where appropriate to enhance intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting
- Act as a trusted intelligence partner, providing informed insights and recommendations to support security operations and business decision-making
The team
You’ll be part of Group Security Services (GSS), working with professionals in Zurich and across our global locations. We define the firm’s global physical security framework and act as a center of expertise for security risk, supporting the protection of our people, assets, operations, and reputation. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the successful execution of our mandate, delivering high-quality open-source intelligence that supports proactive risk management and control. Flexible work locations may be considered for the right candidate.
Your skills and experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, Intelligence Studies, or an equivalent level of professional experience gained in an intelligence role
- At least 3 years of experience in a corporate security, intelligence, geopolitical risk, or strategic analysis role
- A strong practical track record in applying intelligence fundamentals to produce high-quality intelligence products
- Sound understanding of structured analytical techniques, trend analysis, and horizon scanning; familiarity with foresight methodology is considered an advantage
- Technically adept and innovative, with a history of using intelligence and analytical tools, rapidly adopting new capabilities, and applying AI-augmented approaches to enhance intelligence analysis
- Excellent written and verbal English skills; additional languages are an advantage
- Self-motivated, curious, and proactive, with a commitment to continuous learning and the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative and resilient team player, with strong interpersonal skills and a clear sense of responsibility to colleagues in a close knit team over the long term
