Location: Krakow

Job Status: Hybrid (Must be able to visit the Krakow office six times per month )

They are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their UK Data Strategy Sub Value Stream in Krakow. This is an opportunity to contribute to strategic data enhancement commitments within the Commercial Banking area, working closely with Business Banking and Technology colleagues to deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions.
Position Overview
As a Business Analyst, you will play a central role in delivering data enhancement initiatives that enable effective customer campaigns. Your focus will be on the Commercial Banking area, where you will elicit business requirements, identify and map data attributes, and ensure successful delivery of quality data to the Pega team. This role sits within a high-priority programme, giving you visibility and impact across the UK business. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders, applying your analytical skills and attention to detail to support the successful delivery of strategic change.
Responsibilities
- Elicit and document business requirements through facilitated workshops and stakeholder interviews
- Analyse and map data attributes to specific business use cases and campaign requirements
- Collaborate with Business Banking and Technology teams to deliver data solutions
- Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents and Requirements Traceability Matrices
- Support solution design activities, including producing Solution Design Documents and options papers
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning using Jira and Confluence
- Apply data quality controls and governance standards throughout delivery
- Support User Acceptance Testing activities and coordinate test execution
- Prepare and present materials for governance forums, including Steering Committees and Working Groups
- Map business processes and document current and future state workflows
- Work proactively within the team and independently to drive successful outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience delivering change as a Business Analyst
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams
- Experience eliciting requirements through workshops and interviews
- Proven ability creating and managing Business Requirements Documents
- Experience developing and maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrices
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for data analysis
- Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skills for documentation and presentations
- Experience with process mapping techniques and tools
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery, Scrum ceremonies, Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Solution design experience, including creating Solution Design Documents
- UAT support experience, particularly test coordination and execution
- Experience preparing materials for governance forums and presenting to senior stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Proactive approach with ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive attitude and commitment to delivering value-adding change
- Previous experience within a banking environment is preferable
- Experience with data analysis and mapping data attributes to business use cases is preferable
- Knowledge of data quality controls and governance frameworks is preferable
- Familiarity with Pega platform is preferable
