The Breakdown: The Burton Guide is the first point of contact for Burton end consumers, responsible for answering consumers´ requests via phone, email, webform and chat. The goal of the Burton Guides is to build trust by understanding and resolving the requests received in the best possible way. The person will work closely with the Ecom and Product Service Department to knowledge and customer feedback, improve efficiency and productivity.
We're looking for a part-time candidate (20h/week, Monday - Friday afternoons) from the beginning of November until the end of March. Fluency in English is required; German and/or French are a plus.
What You Get to Do:
- Assist customers with product, order and warranty questions via phone, email and chat
- Establish and maintain professional one on one relationships with customers and internal partners
Work alongside the Burton E-Commerce and Product Service teams to* knowledge and customer feedback
- Guide and educate customers about Burton and anon product lines
- Create, post, translate and proof-read support content for burton.com
What You'll Bring to The Team:
- A passion for snowboarding with in-depth product knowledge
- Outdoor industry knowledge with previous experience in customer service is highly regarded
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, German, French, Italian or Spanish is a strong plus
- A positive attitude, detail-oriented and capability to work independently while maintaining a "team and customer first" mindset
- The ability to work in a flexible and fast paced environment
- Well organized, time efficient and multi-tasking ability
