Significant role as an Architect in investigating future designs (architectural exploration). We need you as a Digital IC Design Engineer / System architect to be part of our multidisciplinary team to: > Understand, refine and define concepts and architectures for next generation low power edge AI accelerator. > Take responsibility for the HW modelling of high-performance, ultra-low-power edge AI architecture. This includes: > SystemC modelling for new AI accelerator concepts > Making trade-offs for best performance over power and area, minimal power while considering scalability, maintainability and re-usability. > Collaborate with AI algorithmic expert, and other system architects. > Benchmarking the HW model with several AI models. > Using Pytorch and understanding ONNX files for mapping onto accelerators > Collaborate in an inter-disciplinary team. Understand (internal or external) customer needs, challenges and requirements and translate that into solutions that you can incorporate into your designs. > Contribute to high-quality reports and documentation.

What we expect from you

> MSc or PhD in electronics engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience. > Understanding of state-of-the-art AI accelerators, CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, TPUs, DPUs, and IMC-based Edge-AI accelerators is required. > Experience with HW modelling SystemC and Python, Pytorch is required. > Experience in mapping AI workloads to SOTA AI accelerators is required. > Experience with digital circuit design and RTL is preferred. > Experience with revisioning systems, like git is preferred. > Experience with Synopsys PA tool is preferred. > Experience with scripting language TCL preferred. > Architecting and designing AI accelerators or CPU and peripheral (sub-)systems is preferred. > Structural way of working and ability to develop and manage activity planning is highly preferred. > Previous experience working closely with (internal or external) stakeholders is a plus. > Able to take initiative and responsibility for team’s success. Thinking pro-actively, working independently and having a creative problem-solving attitude are attributes that define yourself. > Have broad interest across disciplines and like to embrace new challenges. > Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
