Description
OSM Thome is looking for an AB to join a RORO/ROPAX vessel trading in Europe under the Danish International Ship Register (DIS). The AB will be part of the deck crew, supporting safe vessel operations, cargo handling and mooring.
Key responsibilities
- Perform mooring and unmooring operations
- Assist with loading, securing and discharging of vehicles and cargo
- Carry out lookout and helmsman duties as required
- Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning and painting
- Assist with safety drills and emergency procedures
- Follow all onboard safety and security instructions
Requirements
- Valid STCW certificates compliant with international regulations
- Valid AB seafarer certificate
- Experience as AB on RORO/ROPAX vessels
- Valid seafarer medical certificate, fit for duty
- Ability to work safely in a team and follow instructions in English
