Housekeeping team member – Kumo Hostels

Kumo Hostels is looking for a new housekeeping team member to join our small and friendly team.

We are a young, international hostel with a relaxed atmosphere and a busy day-to-day operation. As part of our housekeeping team, you help make sure the hostel is clean, comfortable and welcoming for our guests.

What you’ll do:

• Clean and prepare guest rooms and common areas
• Make beds and keep the hostel clean and tidy
• Check rooms and common areas and report any issues
• Help keep the hostel organised and welcoming
• Answer simple questions from guests when needed
• Work closely with the rest of the housekeeping team and share responsibility for keeping everything running smoothly

You’ll work in a small, close-knit team of around 4–5 housekeeping staff. We help each other, communicate well and take responsibility together. The work can be busy and physically demanding, so we’re looking for someone who is hardworking, practical and not afraid to get stuck in.

We offer:

• 16–36 hours per week
• Weekdays and/or weekends
• Shifts from 08:00–14:00 or 10:00–16:00
• Plenty of free time before or after your shift

• Starting pay of €14.99 per hour, depending on experience, availability, hours and commitment

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and flexible. Previous housekeeping experience is a plus, but attitude and a willingness to work are just as important. You should be comfortable communicating with guests in basic English.
