This is a key leadership role partnering with site management and senior stakeholders to drive business performance and support strategic decision-making. The position offers a unique opportunity to influence financial results, operational efficiency, investment decisions, and long-term business planning. The role also provides exposure to global projects, process improvement initiatives, and the development of advanced financial planning and analytics capabilities.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
- Act as a strategic finance business partner to the Site Leadership Team, providing financial guidance and supporting key business decisions.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts (LBE) and financial performance reviews.
- Analyze financial results, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to achieve business commitments.
- Oversee manufacturing cost management, standard costing, inventory valuation, reserves, and transfer pricing activities.
- Support investment decisions through CAPEX reporting, financial analysis, and business case evaluation.
- Deliver financial reporting, presentations, and insights to local and global stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and enhancements of financial planning and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Commercial, Accounting, and other cross-functional teams.
- Lead, develop, and support the Controlling team while fostering strong collaboration with Finance Global Business Services (GBS) to drive high performance and continuous capability growth Your Skills and Experience
- Academic degree in Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ experience in Controlling, Finance, or Financial Planning & Analysis within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous people management experience.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, cost management and performance management.
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business recommendations and business cases.
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Experience working with SAP and financial reporting systems.
- Fluent English.
- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, decision-making, and influencing skills. Also Good to Have
- MBA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA, or other professional finance qualifications.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, IBP, or similar analytics and planning tools.
- Experience leading finance transformation, automation, or cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Knowledge of transfer pricing and manufacturing cost accounting in a multinational environment. How We’ll Take Care of You
