We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Assignment Leader for a long-term consulting assignment within the automotive industry.
The assignment focuses on driving the localization of parts for a new international production hub. You will be part of a team of Assignment Leaders and play a key role in ensuring that localized parts are introduced into production according to agreed timelines and cost targets.
The role involves extensive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across Production, Logistics, R&D, and Purchasing.
- Lead and coordinate localization activities for parts within the assigned technical area.
- Ensure localized parts are introduced into production on time and according to cost targets.
- Drive cross-functional activities throughout the localization process.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Logistics, R&D, and Purchasing.
- Monitor timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.
- Identify bottlenecks and contribute to shorter lead times.
- Ensure structured and efficient project execution.
- Communicate progress, risks, and required actions to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Engineering.
- Several years of experience within R&D in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive product development processes.
- Good product and technical understanding.
- Previous experience in Project Management or Assignment Leadership.
- Experience coordinating multiple functions and stakeholders.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.

- Procurement / Purchasing
- Production
- Logistics
- Testing
- Experience with structured industrial development and localization processes.
- Swedish language skills.
