We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Assignment Leader for a long-term consulting assignment within the automotive industry.

The assignment focuses on driving the localization of parts for a new international production hub. You will be part of a team of Assignment Leaders and play a key role in ensuring that localized parts are introduced into production according to agreed timelines and cost targets.

The role involves extensive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders across Production, Logistics, R&D, and Purchasing.

  • Lead and coordinate localization activities for parts within the assigned technical area.
  • Ensure localized parts are introduced into production on time and according to cost targets.
  • Drive cross-functional activities throughout the localization process.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Logistics, R&D, and Purchasing.
  • Monitor timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress.
  • Identify bottlenecks and contribute to shorter lead times.
  • Ensure structured and efficient project execution.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and required actions to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Engineering.
  • Several years of experience within R&D in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive product development processes.
  • Good product and technical understanding.
  • Previous experience in Project Management or Assignment Leadership.
  • Experience coordinating multiple functions and stakeholders.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.

  • Testing
  • Experience with structured industrial development and localization processes.
  • Swedish language skills.
