About the assignment
As an organisation, we are looking for a hands-on Google Workspace Consultant to help us take the next step in shaping our digital workplace. Our organisation is primarily Microsoft-oriented, but various Google services are also being used across the business in different ways. A comprehensive overview and a clear strategy are still in early stages. That’s where you come in.
What will you be doing?
Phase 1: Assessment (current state)
You will build a complete and reliable picture of how Google services are currently used across our organisation. Technically, financially and organisationally. We expect you to determine which angles matter, identify stakeholders and how to uncover what isn’t documented anywhere. The outcome is a current-state assessment we can trust as the basis for decisions.
Phase 2: Integration plan (desired state)
Based on your findings, you will translate the assessment into a concrete, decision-ready plan for how Google Workspace should be positioned and managed within our organization. The plan needs to be actionable for IT and understandable for management, and it should give us a clear route from where we are today to a properly governed situation.
What are we looking for?
- Experience with Google Workspace implementations or migrations in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of Google Admin Console, identity management and data governance within the Google ecosystem.
- Experience conducting IT assessments and translating findings into actionable plans.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; you know how to engage both IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in English; you can articulate complex matters clearly in writing.
- A pragmatic and results-driven work style; you deliver within the agreed timeframe.
What do we offer?
- A high-impact short-term assignment (2-3 months) within a large, dynamic organization.
- Direct collaboration with IT leadership and involvement in strategic decision-making.
- A competitive fee. We will discuss the expected number of project hours and the corresponding compensation together.
- A free daily lunch in our cozy kitchen
- Fun Friday afternoon drinks, great parties, team activities, and dinners
- Travel expense reimbursement, if applicable
Sounds interesting?
- Start date: Ready when you are, preferably on short notice.
- Commitment: A minimum of 2 days per week.
- Location: Whether you prefer the buzz of the office or the comfort of working from home, we've got you covered. This role can be based in one of our offices in the Netherlands or Slovenia, fully remote, or hybrid.
