Overview:
The Europe Data Analytics Manager is a strategic member of the Go-To-Market Analytics (GTMA) team, responsible for leading data-driven decision making across BISSELL's international business. This role serves as the primary analytics partner to regional commercial leadership, with a primary focus on Europe, translating business priorities into actionable insights that accelerate growth, improve performance, and support strategic initiatives.
The Europe Data Analytics Manager develops and executes the regional analytics strategy by leveraging internal and external data sources to monitor business performance, identify market opportunities, evaluate commercial investments, and enable fact-based decision making. The role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Digital, and regional leadership teams to establish meaningful performance measurement, prioritize analytical initiatives, and communicate data insights to influence business strategy across markets, channels, and customers.
Success in this role requires a strong combination of analytical expertise, commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and leadership. The ideal candidate is comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, leading cross-functional initiatives, and transforming complex data into compelling business recommendations that drive measurable results. Responsibilities: Strategic Business & Market Analytics
- Own delivery of BISSELL's Europe analytics across markets, ensuring analytical priorities align with regional business objectives and growth strategies.
- Serve as the trusted analytics advisor to regional leadership by providing strategic insights, recommendations, and performance based tracking against regional KPI’s.
- Lead the development of executive-level reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and business reviews that provide visibility into commercial performance across international markets.
- Identify emerging market trends, business risks, and growth opportunities through analysis of market trends including competitive commercial performance data.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations that support strategic planning, portfolio management, pricing, promotions, distribution, assortment, and commercial investments.
- Lead deep-dive analyses and special projects to evaluate business performance, identify root causes, and recommend actions that improve business outcomes.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with organizational objectives and enable proactive performance management.
Analytic Strategy (Data & Models)
- Lead efforts to improve the quality of analytics through data cleanliness and modeling accuracy.
- Ensure performance data and analytics is accessible and standardized across Europe markets and categories.
- Partner with the Data Lake team to define reporting standards, data models, and scalable analytical solutions.
- Drive automation and modernization of reporting processes, improving efficiency while reducing manual effort.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen analytical capabilities, data quality, and business decision support.
- Identify opportunities to expand data sources, analytical tools, and methodologies that increase commercial insight and business value.
Business Partnership & Leadership
- Build strong strategic partnerships with regional commercial leadership, serving as the primary point of contact for analytics and business insights.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Digital, and other cross-functional leaders to understand evolving business priorities and develop analytical solutions that address critical business challenges.
- Influence business planning by communicating opportunities, risks, and performance trends to local and global leadership teams.
- Facilitate regular business reviews with leadership teams, translating performance metrics into actionable business plans.
- Prioritize the regional analytics portfolio to ensure resources are focused on the highest-value business initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional analytical initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and support long-term strategic objectives.
- Mentor and provide guidance to analysts or project team members as appropriate, fostering analytical excellence and knowledge sharing across the organization.
Qualifications: REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Computer Science, Consumer Research, or a related field.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 7-10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, business insights, reporting, consumer insights, retail analytics, marketing analytics, category management, or a related analytical field.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with senior business leaders to influence strategic decision-making.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional analytical initiatives and managing multiple business priorities.
- Experience developing executive-level dashboards, performance reporting, and strategic business reviews.
- Experience working within global or international business environments.
- Experience analyzing syndicated retail, market, consumer, eCommerce, and digital performance data across multiple countries.
- Understanding of European retail, consumer goods, or eCommerce markets preferred.
- Experience working across geographically dispersed teams and diverse stakeholder groups.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE* Preferred experience in CPC or durable goods manufacturer
REQUIRED SKILLS****Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including data analysis, pivot tables, formulas, and reporting.
- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Domo, Looker, or similar tools.
- Experience working with databases, structured datasets, and reporting systems.
- Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, ETL processes, or analytics tools preferred.
- Experience with syndicated market and consumer data sources (e.g., Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ, GfK, Euromonitor, retailer POS data, digital commerce platforms, or similar) preferred.
Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within large and complex datasets.
