Laboratory Technician

Bolton Adhesives is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our R&D team in Goes, the Netherlands. Are you analytical, creative and eager to work for an international company with leading brands? Then this could be your next opportunity.

How you make the difference As a Laboratory Technician, you help develop and improve innovative adhesives, glues and sealants. You conduct reliable tests and support the successful scale-up and implementation of new formulations.

How your agenda looks like:

• Prepare laboratory samples for related development and maintenance projects or activities.
• Plan and perform analytical, chemical and physical test series, including accurate documentation of the results.
• Evaluate test results and report your findings to the (Senior) Product Development Manager.
• Accompany production scale-ups and contribute to the successful implementation of formulations.
• Develop new and improve existing test methods in alignment with the (Senior) Product Development Manager.
• Monitor the functionality of assigned laboratory equipment and coordinate its maintenance.

Your team: You will become part of the R&D team at our Adhesives location in Goes. You will work closely with Product Development Managers, Lab Technicians and R&D Manager.

What makes you a great fit:

• MBO Level 4 degree in Laboratory Technology.
• Good command of Dutch and English; English is essential for this role.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of organic and inorganic chemistry.
• One to two years of professional experience in an industrial laboratory environment is an advantage.
• You work flexibly, safely, independently and accurately.
• You are a committed team player.
