Junior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an Engineer to work with our client - an American multinational financial services corporation. The company processes payments for people in 200+ countries and territories worldwide.

Steps in the recruitment process:

What will be your responsibilities?

• Assist senior engineers with AWS network configuration including VPCs, subnets, peering, Route 53, and PrivateLink
• Help provision and maintain core cloud resources such as EKS clusters, ECR repositories, S3 buckets, and KMS keys
• Learn and write Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK to build reusable deployment modules
• Maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments via ArgoCD using GitOps practices
• Help monitor system health through CloudWatch and assist with applying security policies like OPA and Zero Trust
• Create technical documentation and actively participate in daily syncs with the US team during shifted working hours

Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering role (must have)
• Knowledge of Terraform
• Practice with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Understanding of GitHub Actions and Helm functions
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Nice-to-Have:

• Practical experience with core AWS services (Amazon EKS, EC2, S3, IAM)
• Experience in regulated / high-compliance environments (fintech, banking, payments).
• Terraform background (transferable to CDK; TypeScript can be picked up with AI assistance).
