The AI Project Manager is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and delivering AI-driven initiatives that create measurable business value across the organization. This role requires a blend of business and technical expertise, translating business challenges into scalable AI solutions while driving adoption and ensuring successful implementation.### Your responsibilities and tasks
Support AI strategy definition and execution
- Contribute to shaping the AI roadmap for Nutrition Plant Engineering aligned with business priorities
- Ensure alignment between AI initiatives and overall GEA strategy
Drive use case identification and prioritization
- Support business units in identifying high-value AI opportunities
- Structure and manage the AI use case funnel
- Define prioritization criteria based on impact, feasibility, and scalability
Lead AI use case assessments
- Conduct workshops and interviews with business stakeholders
- Analyze processes and identify automation and optimization opportunities
- Translate business needs into AI use cases
Develop business cases
- Quantify value (efficiency, cost savings, quality, scalability)
- Define KPIs and success metrics
- Support decision-making with clear ROI-driven insights
Define solution approach
- Propose best-fit AI solutions (build vs buy, tools, architecture approach)
- Collaborate with technical teams to define implementation strategy
- Ensure feasibility and alignment with IT and data landscape
Drive execution and coordination
- Coordinate stakeholders across business, IT, and external partners
- Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies
- Ensure timely delivery of AI initiatives
Enable AI adoption and democratization
- Organize and facilitate AI workshops and training sessions
- Promote AI awareness and best practices across the organization
- Support change management and user adoption initiatives
Your profile and qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
Professional Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in project management within digital, data, or AI-related initiatives.
- Strong understanding of AI and analytics use cases in business environments.
- Experience in business analysis, process optimization, or consulting.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience developing business cases and value tracking.
- Knowledge of AI tools, data platforms, or automation solutions is considered an advantage.
- Fluent English required.
