Responsibilities
1. Sensor Design:
- Lead the sensor design process, focusing on strain gauge applications.
- Manage the entire workflow, from gathering input for sensor design to participating in the calibration of the final sensor.
- Define testing needs, load ranges, and perform strength simulations.
- Design both the physical components and sensors, ensuring optimal placement of strain gauges through detailed stress and strain analysis.
- Plan and oversee sensor calibration to ensure accuracy and reliability.
2. Durability Analysis:
- Provide stress and strain CAE simulations to support the project design phase.
- Deliver recommendations to support programs or design concepts.
- Conduct analysis to develop and establish durability requirements and targets.
Requirements
- MSc in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of Wheel Suspension design.
- You must have documented knowledge and a few years of experience from of the durability domain
- Experience of CAE tools Ansa, Abaqus, nCode and CAD tool CATIA
- Broad knowledge of the vehicle design process.
- You are experienced in writing requirements and technical guidelines.
- This role requires a strong technical foundation, collaboration across disciplines, and the ability to balance theoretical modeling with hands-on testing and analysis to support both sensor design and durability engineering efforts.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
