Responsibilities

1. Sensor Design:

  • Lead the sensor design process, focusing on strain gauge applications.
  • Manage the entire workflow, from gathering input for sensor design to participating in the calibration of the final sensor.
  • Define testing needs, load ranges, and perform strength simulations.
  • Design both the physical components and sensors, ensuring optimal placement of strain gauges through detailed stress and strain analysis.
  • Plan and oversee sensor calibration to ensure accuracy and reliability.

2. Durability Analysis:

  • Provide stress and strain CAE simulations to support the project design phase.
  • Deliver recommendations to support programs or design concepts.
  • Conduct analysis to develop and establish durability requirements and targets.

Requirements

  • MSc in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Wheel Suspension design.
  • You must have documented knowledge and a few years of experience from of the durability domain
  • Experience of CAE tools Ansa, Abaqus, nCode and CAD tool CATIA
  • Broad knowledge of the vehicle design process.
  • You are experienced in writing requirements and technical guidelines.
  • This role requires a strong technical foundation, collaboration across disciplines, and the ability to balance theoretical modeling with hands-on testing and analysis to support both sensor design and durability engineering efforts.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
