Medior Project Manager AV/IT

At ONEXP, "good enough" doesn't exist. When we deploy high-end audio, video, and IT infrastructure for the world’s most elite superyachts and ultra-luxury residences, technical execution is everything. We are looking for a Project Manager AV/IT based at our Rotterdam headquarters to take absolute command of scope, budget, and delivery to orchestrate seven-star experiences.

You won't be hiding behind generic corporate red tape. Managing multiple complex IT and AV projects simultaneously—ranging from rapid 3-month refits to massive 4-year superyacht new builds—is something you thrive on.

Operating primarily from our HQ at the iconic Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam, you assemble your powerhouse team of internal specialists (IT, AV, and Finance departments) and external stakeholders (yacht owner representatives, naval architects, and shipyard project managers). You steer the project through changing waters, balancing stakeholder interests and ensuring every system lands on time, on budget, and up to our uncompromising quality standards.

Key Responsibilities & Core Mission

• Mastering the Framework: Deploy robust project management methodologies—utilizing customized IPMA-C frameworks—to keep complex AV and IT infrastructures tightly controlled.
• Navigating Project Realities: Adapt cleanly to scope changes and Change Orders in high-stakes environments without compromising signal integrity, project timelines, or stakeholder alignment.
• Stakeholder & Yard Management: Bridge the gap between demanding clients, shipyard management teams, and internal engineering departments through sharp communication and ironclad control.
• Driving the Seven-Star Standard: Oversee project handovers to ensure every delivery matches the breathtaking, flawless design philosophy of ONEXP.

Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills)

You bring several years of proven experience managing full-cycle IT infrastructure and Audiovisual (AV) projects, ideally in superyacht, marine, aviation, or high-end residential sectors. You speak our technical language and align naturally with our core values:

• Technical Realist & Leader: Strong background in full-lifecycle project management preferably across network infrastructure, IP distribution, and integrated AV systems.
• Ownership: You take total responsibility for your projects from kick-off to final "as-built" handover.
• No-Nonsense & Global Mindset: We say what we do, and we do what we say. You are fluent in written and spoken English (Dutch is an advantage) and ready for international travel roughly 30% of the time to oversee project sites globally.
• Excellence: You settle for nothing less than absolute precision when engineering solutions for the world's most discerning clients.
