This part-time position working closely with fellow Music teachers to develop a provocative and engaging curriculum.
- Work pattern: Part-time position of approximately 14 hours per week
- Salary: Based on the Dutch Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) for Secondary Education Scale LB: €3463 - €5277 pm (gross) for 1.0FTE - steps in the scales depend on relevant background and experience
- Contract: This is a temporary appointment till the Spring school break (19 February 2027) to cover a medical leave of absence

- Inspire students through interactive and reflective learning experiences.
- Adapt to the unique needs of all learners, including high-ability students and those with additional language or learning challenges.
- Help students develop a growth mindset, encouraging them to reflect, learn from setbacks, and take ownership of their progress.
- Contribute to a collaborative team, engaging in planning and reflection to refine the curriculum.

Essential qualifications and experience
- A fully recognised teaching qualification that meets Dutch Education Authorities (DUO) standards, qualifying you to teach Music for students aged 11–16 across all relevant educational levels.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music (or a related field)
Preferred
- Experience in teaching IB MYP and DP/CP
- At least three years of experience teaching Music in secondary education
- Knowledge of music technology, live sound and recording is desirable
