Join SAR Operational Excellence as a Compliance Officer where you'll transform regulatory and operational challenges into technology-enabled solutions. You'll work across risk, technology, and operations to support the Suspicious Activity Reporting Office, which investigates suspected financial crime across eight market areas. This role offers the opportunity to shape processes, implement automation, and make a real difference in financial crime prevention.
What you will be doing
As part of SAR Operational Excellence, you'll work with a range of initiatives bridge the gap between operational needs and technology solutions, working with stakeholders across Copenhagen and Warsaw to identify improvement opportunities and translate them into practical solutions.
- Analyse investigative processes and operating models to identify efficiency opportunities
- Support evaluation and implementation of automation, AI, and machine learning solutions
- Manage governance, risk, and compliance initiatives and assessments including driving governing bodies
- Build relationships with stakeholders to understand operational challenges Contribute to recurring and ad hoc team tasks supporting overall priorities
About you
- 3+ years experience in process improvement, business analysis, or similar field
- Good understanding of digital solutions, automation, AI, and machine learning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities across complex processes
- Ability to build relationships and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Fluency in English
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and creating value without predefined roadmaps Experience translating operational needs into functional requirements
You would benefit from having compliance experience or knowledge of financial crime processes, though we welcome candidates who bring strong analytical skills and curiosity to learn.

This position is based in Warsaw, Poland. The relocation allowance isn't applicable for this role.
