Lead Security Engineer – Infrastructure & Cloud

Description

We are looking for a Lead Security Engineer to join an international cybersecurity team and strengthen the security of infrastructure and applications. This hands-on role combines technical leadership with the identification and remediation of vulnerabilities, security issues, and misconfigurations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in system engineering.
• Hands-on experience with patch management, infrastructure security, Azure, Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), and Zscaler.
• Experience identifying and mitigating infrastructure and application vulnerabilities.
• Experience with programming languages and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Ability to build effective relationships with technical teams and key stakeholders.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for security engineering initiatives.
• Identify and help remediate security issues, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations.
• Implement and improve security measures across infrastructure and applications.
• Conduct security evaluations of infrastructure and applications.
• Create and maintain technical runbooks.
• Evaluate new security technologies and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to strengthen the organisation’s security posture.
