Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join the Enterprise Pipeline Workflow Enablement team to build and manage a scalable, secure and efficient CI/CD pipeline. This role is pivotal in supporting the enablement of infrastructure-as-code for our GitHub Actions pipeline and will contribute to a new Full-Stack team embracing new ways of working (NWoW).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and deploy cloud platforms to support and meet business needs
• Identify, recommend and implement opportunities for improvements
• Develop and maintain strategies to maximize operation uptime and system stability
• Track system performance and address potential issues proactively
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Support the enablement of infrastructure as code across cloud environments
• Collaborate with the Full-Stack team to integrate server-side solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of related work experience in cloud engineering or DevOps
• Understanding of core cloud infrastructure and platform concepts
• Expertise in CI/CD tooling, particularly GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as CloudFormation, EC2 and Lambda
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance
• Deep expertise in TypeScript
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker
• Familiarity with Open Policy Agent (OPA), Nx or other monorepo orchestration frameworks
• Background in Java, Python or Bash
• Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence and Atlassian Jira
• Understanding of Cloud Operations and Network Administration
