Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior React Native Developer to join our mobile engineering team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript, along with a passion for creating scalable, high-performance, and user-centric mobile solutions.

This role requires close collaboration with product managers, business analysts, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver innovative mobile applications that align with business objectives and provide an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and UX/UI Designers to translate business requirements and user stories into scalable technical solutions.
• Define and promote mobile application architecture, design principles, coding standards, and development best practices.
• Contribute to the mobile development roadmap by evaluating emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

React Native Development

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Serve as a hands-on expert in React Native development, including:
  • Component lifecycle management
  • State management
  • Navigation frameworks
  • Performance optimization
  • Native module integrations
• Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable components and libraries.

Quality & Performance

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and stability issues.
• Ensure applications deliver excellent responsiveness, usability, and reliability.
• Champion clean architecture and testable code design principles.

Integration & Delivery

• Design and implement integrations with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and third-party platforms.
• Collaborate with backend teams to ensure seamless data exchange and system interoperability.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines for mobile application delivery.
• Contribute to automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on mobile application development.
• Proven experience developing and deploying applications using React Native.
• Strong proficiency in:
  • JavaScript (ES6+)
  • TypeScript
  • Modern front-end development practices
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, SDKs, and libraries.
• Solid understanding of:
  • Mobile application architecture
  • UI/UX principles
  • Responsive design
  • Accessibility standards
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Context API, or similar.
• Knowledge of mobile performance optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and design patterns.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with testing frameworks such as:
  • React Testing Library
  • Appium
  • Jest
  • Detox
• Experience working with GraphQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation for mobile development.
• Experience publishing applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
