Residential cleaner

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Residential Cleaner to provide high-quality cleaning services in private homes. The role involves maintaining clean, tidy, and hygienic living spaces for individual clients, ensuring a professional and trustworthy service every visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of private residences, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, bedrooms, and common spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and wipe down surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and appliances.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, etc.).
• Clean kitchens: wipe countertops, clean sinks, appliances (oven, microwave, refrigerator exteriors), and empty bins.
• Change bed linens and make beds (when requested).
• Empty rubbish bins and replace liners.
• Clean mirrors, and glass surfaces (interior).
• Organize and tidy rooms as needed while respecting client belongings.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow client-specific instructions and preferences regarding cleaning methods and products.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or concerns to the client or supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of clients’ homes.
• Arrive on time, fully prepared, and present a professional appearance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning preferred (but not always essential).
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physically fit – able to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and carry cleaning equipment for extended periods.
• Good communication skills in English (basic level minimum).
• Flexible availability
• Right to work in the country of employment.
• Clean criminal record / willingness to undergo background checks
