We are looking for an experienced Data Manager to support the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) in the management, validation and quality assurance of large and complex datasets.
Your responsibilities
- Manage and process large datasets.
- Perform data-quality analysis and validation.
- Work extensively with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Support reliable data-management and reporting processes.
- Contribute to the improvement of data quality and consistency.
Your profile
- University degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in data management; or a non-university degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of recent experience working with large datasets using SQL.
- At least 3 years of experience in data quality assurance and validation.
- At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- English level B2 or higher.
Practical details
- Remote work from within the EU/EEA.
- Occasional on-site presence at ECDC in Solna, Sweden, may be required.
- Freelance and employment-contract options are available.
