Data Analyst, Supply Chain

What to Expect In this role you will serve as the Data Analyst supporting EMEA Service Parts Planning, with a focus on high-voltage battery supply and distribution. You will be the go-to expert for allocation and distribution analytics, inventory health, and operational performance across the EMEA parts network. You will analyse how parts move, where they are held and why they are delayed, and turn that into decisions on allocation, inventory placement and network design. Where reporting and automation are needed to sustain those decisions, you will build them.

This is a hands-on role. Alongside the analytical work you will spend time close to the operation, with planning, warehouse, logistics and service teams, because the problems worth modelling are the ones you have seen on the ground. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who works at pace, is technically strong, commercially curious, and comfortable moving between analytics and a conversation with a warehouse team on the same day.

What You'll Do* Own the analytics behind allocation and distribution decisions: where stock is held, how it is assigned, and how quickly it moves

• Analyse inventory across the network to identify ageing, coverage gaps and excess, and recommend corrective action
• Define, measure and improve the KPIs for the parts network, including allocation lead time, release performance, inventory health and backlog development
• Run the operational allocation and distribution cycle where automation does not yet cover it, and use that experience to specify what should be automated
• Coordinate across Planning, Warehouse, Logistics and Service teams to resolve escalations and align on priorities
• Partner with Systems and IT teams to define requirements for planning and allocation tooling, and support testing through to deployment
• Build the data workflows and recurring reporting needed to sustain these decisions
• Present analysis and recommendations clearly to a wide audience, including senior leadership What You'll Bring* Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science) or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated ability to structure an ambiguous problem, reach a defensible answer quickly, and act before the data is perfect
• 2+ years in supply chain analytics, logistics, planning, or a comparable analytical role
• Proficiency in SQL and in querying large datasets
• Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, and model development (e.g., pandas, NumPy)
• A hands-on operational mindset, and willingness to spend time with warehouse, logistics and service teams to understand problems first-hand
• Strong cross-functional communication, with the ability to build credibility across planning, systems, and operations teams
• Familiarity with inventory and distribution concepts such as allocation, safety stock, lead time, and network design is a strong plus
• Experience building dashboards and visualisations using Tableau or similar is a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken English
