The food industry is constantly evolving. Manufacturers continue to invest in automation, efficiency, and product quality to meet growing market demands. As a Mechanical Designer Food, you will play a key role in designing, improving, and realizing production equipment and processing lines for a wide range of food applications.
Working closely with Project Engineers, Production Specialists, Suppliers, and End Users, you'll develop robust and hygienic machine designs that comply with the high standards of the food industry.
Whether it's a new packaging line, a conveyor system, or a complete processing installation, you'll be involved from concept development through detailed engineering and implementation.
What we expect from you
What we expect from you
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience as a Mechanical Designer within machine building, process equipment, or the food industry.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Siemens NX.
- Experience designing production lines, conveyor systems, processing equipment, or packaging machinery.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machine components, sheet metal design, and mechanical constructions.
- Affinity with hygienic design principles and food industry standards.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to take ownership of engineering challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in English; Dutch is considered a plus.
