Responsibilities

Test Automation

Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites

API & Integration Testing

Perform API, integration and end-to-end testing across backend systems without relying only on the UI

Microservices Testing

Test applications based on microservices and distributed architectures

Event-Driven Testing

Test event-driven and asynchronous workflows using Kafka or similar messaging technologies

System Communication

Validate REST APIs, events, webhooks and other system-to-system communication

Data Validation

Use SQL and NoSQL databases to validate data and system behaviour

Defect Investigation

Investigate defects and production issues, perform root cause analysis and work with developers on resolution

Quality Improvement

Work with Docker and Kubernetes while contributing to test strategy, documentation and continuous quality improvement

Requirements

QA & Automation Experience

Several years of QA / Software Testing experience with strong hands-on test automation expertise

Test Frameworks

Proven experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks

API & Integration Testing

Strong experience with API, integration and end-to-end testing

Distributed Systems

Practical experience testing microservices and distributed systems

Event-Driven Systems

Experience testing event-driven and asynchronous communication, preferably with Kafka or similar technologies

Database Testing

Good knowledge of SQL and databases with experience validating data during testing

Programming & Containers

Programming or scripting experience, preferably C#/.NET, and experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes

Analysis & Collaboration

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis, production issue investigation and Agile team collaboration
