How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design static and fatigue structural tests on wind turbine blades and components for the NB19 (MKVII) project.
- Prepare and manage test setups, including instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and mechanical loading equipment.
- Run simulations, process, analyze, and interpret large datasets from structural tests using tools like MATLAB or Python.
- Document all test activities, results, and findings in comprehensive technical reports for internal stakeholders.
- Investigate and troubleshoot anomalies observed during testing, collaborating with design engineers to communicate findings and support product improvements.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a relevant engineering role, such as structural analysis, mechanical testing, or product validation.
- Hands-on experience with composite materials and structural testing, which is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
