Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Technical Consultation: Serve as the primary technical interface for sales teams. Conduct workshops and customer meetings to present product offerings, analyze requirements, and help build proposals, effort estimates, and business cases.
Solution Architecture Fit-Gap Analysis: Perform structured fit-gap analyses against standard products, evaluate the operational impact of gaps, and challenge custom requests to align with true business needs rather than legacy systems.
Requirements Specification Management: Produce audit-ready, traceable functional specifications and maintain documentation connecting every requirement to its business source and solution component.
Delivery Implementation Support: Partner with Project Managers and engineering teams to ensure designs are delivered Right the First Time (RFT). Facilitate smooth transitions into live service operations.
Testing Quality Assurance: Support customers with test scenario preparation and test data collection (for small-to-medium projects). Maintain complete solution conformance evidence across project gates.
Customer Training: Deliver product familiarization training before design phases begin and key-user training prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Domain Expertise: Act as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) in air cargo operations (e.g., booking, export/import handling, customs, rating, billing).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Air Cargo Domain: Strong operational fluency across key air cargo processes, independent of software systems.
Analytical Commercial Judgment: Skilled in fit-gap analysis, requirements traceability, and selecting cost/time-efficient solutions.
Communication Facilitation: Outstanding interpersonal and written skills capable of running decision-focused workshops and working across cross-functional teams.
Technical Tooling Skills: Proficient in MS Office Power BI experience is a plus. Ability to achieve and maintain internal Cargospot Neo product certification.
Leadership: Self-driven, with a track record of reviewing peer outputs and mentoring junior team members.
Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Business Analysis Experience: 5+ years of BA experience, including use-case building and functional specification drafting.
Lifecycle Track Record: Direct participation in all phases of at least one full external software implementation lifecycle (from requirements through go-live).
Domain Expertise: Proven SME-level depth in air cargo operations (booking, capacity, documentation, customs, rating/billing, or revenue accounting).
