Responsibilities:
Market analysis (benchmark, professional fairs, market trends, innovation).
Following and reporting the supplier’s performance.
Leading the supplier’s sourcing process in respect of the procedures.
Taking part or leading internal working groups for technical savings identification or problem solving.
Ensuring competitive pricing and uninterrupted material supply.
Managing and evaluating the supplier base, making decisions on supplier selection.
Identifying and delivering cost-saving opportunities (e.g. process or material improvements).
Leading price, contract, and technical negotiations with suppliers.
Managing the suppliers’ relationships according to OPmobility purchasing policy.
Monitoring supplier performance and risks (financial, operational) and taking preventive action.
Profile:
Master’s or Engineering degree.
3-5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the automotive sector, or equivalent relevant experience
Fluent English.
Strong purchasing expertise with a strategic mindset.
Purchasing market knowledge & commodity strategy management
Experience in negotiations and supplier management.
Good understanding of finance, cost structures, and cash flow.
Willingness to travel.
