About the Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, build, and operate reliable, scalable backend services and platform capabilities that power product experiences, internal tools, and business-critical workflows. You will lead the development of complex features and systems, improve the performance, reliability, and observability of critical services, and work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver high-impact solutions. You will be part of the Technology team.
You Will:
- Design & Build: Design, build, and own reliable, scalable backend services, APIs, and platform components, driving the delivery of projects from planning through release with minimal oversight.
- Collaborate & Optimize: Partner closely with engineering, product, and QA stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions while improving monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational readiness for critical services.
- Mentor & Lead: Act as a go-to technical contributor for debugging and problem-solving, contributing to architecture decisions and engineering standards, and raising team effectiveness by mentoring junior engineers.
You Have:
- 4–6+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend or platform environments.
- Strong hands-on experience building production-grade backend systems and APIs with proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
- Deep experience with AWS services, Linux environments, CI/CD pipelines, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis) and familiarity with data platforms and pipelines.
- Familiarity with Data platforms and pipelines using Snowflake and modern data orchestration, transformation, and modeling practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for technical and non-technical audiences and connect technical work to business goals.
