Senior Business Analyst

Workplace: Lisbon / Porto (Hybrid)

Profile:

• Degree in Information Technology or a related field;
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in similar roles;
• Experience in end-to-end process analysis and functional design;
• Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories;
• Experience managing and prioritizing change request backlogs;
• Knowledge of application lifecycle management, production support and impact analysis, including legacy systems and dependencies;
• Proficiency in SQL or similar tools for reporting and data extraction;
• Good understanding of the end-to-end development lifecycle, from requirements to production deployment;
• Experience with financial systems or platforms, namely payments, asset management or banking systems, will be considered an advantage;
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate with different audiences (technical and non-technical);
• Experience conducting business user interviews and workshops, and acting as a link between development teams and product stakeholders;
• Ability to train and support business users and junior analysts;
• Fluency in English;
• Structured, rigorous and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and proposing solutions;
• Collaborative mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and an interest in industry trends and best practices.
