Game description
We’re currently working on an AAA dark fantasy RPG - The Blood of Dawnwalker, the first title of a planned saga set in our own brand-new universe.
We are looking for a Technical QA Analyst / Senior Technical QA Analyst to join our QA Team to help us increase and maintain the quality of our game, tech and processes. You will test our game, its subsystems and tools used to create it, provide feedback regarding the game's quality and use different debugging methods to help developers pinpoint the source of found problems. Your main asset will be your analytical mindset and ability to dig deeper, rather than just pointing that something doesn’t work. You can work either on-site, in our modern office in Warsaw, Poland (Dereniowa Street) – or remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Testing internally developed tools and the game made with them.
- Providing feedback regarding tools usability.
- Analyzing found issues in search for their direct cause.
- Monitoring performance on all platforms and profiling issues.
- Tracking stability and investigating crashes.
- Helping developers solve issues which could prevent them from creating the best game possible.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in QA.
- Experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine and custom tools.
- Understand of game performance, stability and what affects them
- Scripting/programming experience.
- Ability to learn quickly and strong drive to improve own skills and processes.
- Proactive approach to game development, seeing the game as a whole.
- Excellent communication skills and a sense of ownership.
- Ability to give feedback in a constructive manner.
- Problem solving approach.
- Fluent English.
- Good self-motivation and self-management skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with debugging issues using various tools.
- Experience in in-house QA team.
